The Mühlviertler Saphir hop does not only give this beer its name but also the unique taste. Two months it gets stuffed with wohle hops.

During this time the fine hop oils are carried into the beer an bring exquisite lychee, mango and mandarin aromas to light.

This beer resulted from the former Heller Bock Saphir, which is not longer brewed. Although it has slightly less alcohol, the taste didn't loose its character.

The taste as well as the ABV of 6,5% of this beer is similar to an IPA and is indeed a perfect delight on warm summer days.
